Washington, DC -- Lawmakers from both political parties are working together to offer an amendment to a Congressional spending bill that includes President Barack Obama's request to fund abortions in the nation's capital. A House committee is expected to vote on the amendment on Tuesday.

Is anyone following the Honduras story? Their elections are upcoming and ... well, I hope they go well.
Why would be interested in Honduras? Because Hugo Chavez and his buds have taken a keen interest in it, and our own government seems to be backing their interest instead of the interests of upholding the Honduran Constitution.

Aside from being a supporter of NAMBLA (North American Man/Boy Love Association). It's exactly what it sounds like - don't look it up if there are children in the room ... I can't tell you what you'll find since I haven't tried to look them up; but beware if you do try to look them up.
So, aside from that, ". . .Harry Hay was an avowed communist. . ."
". . .The New York Times referred to him as "an ardent American Communist, a romantic homosexual," who was a "restless middle-aged man" by the time he formed the Mattachine Society, the first gay-rights group in the United States. .."
And Kevin Jennings, appointed by President Obama as Assistant Deputy Secretary at the Department of Education for the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, admires Hay.
